Track Name: Linen
Pulling on linen in the summer sinning
all the while the thought of you makes me high.
I’ve been waiting; you keep saying
that the sky will rain on our one and only love.
The sun is burning the streets are turning
all the world into a hell in late July.
Contemplating the winds are changing
all the while fall is on your mind, mind.

Grace is over now
So why cant you decide?

I’ve been waiting;
you keep saying
That I'm your little lady
Time is wasting
and were facing all the world in the heat of late July.

Hesitating while you are jading your own mind
Oh the secrets we have made.
Take my jacket and lay my head down
For a while till I am O.K.
Your classic linen and your face is grinning
Filling up your mind with a great surprise.
The sun is dimming’ and the street is winning,
While we're spinning round taking hold of our life, life.

All these things all these things,
You tell me all these things,
you tell me all these things,
you tell me all these things,
all these things,
all these things
[X3]

Who do you, who do you, think you
are?
Track Name: It's Gunna Be Me
You’ve been searchin’ in all the wrong places
for the truth you can’t seem to find.
But there’s something bout you baby that I like.
Saddling up upon the pavement,
pressing all the pedals down
with your hands beneath my fingers
and both feet flat on the ground.

Well my heart is racing
And my feet are chasing
You down
We're going round and round.

But there’s something bout you baby,
That I really can’t deny
No oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
Oh, there’s something in your eyes now
and they just ain’t telling lies.
Oh its gunna be me.

Sipping coffee straight from the roaster
Staring deep into my dark, dark brown eyes this time
Words alone wont save you
Cause your feelings you just cant hide, no!
Well the mail was just delivered
With a postmark upside down
And it came from “South Bend, Indiana”
Where the weather’s gunna turn you upside down.
Track Name: Smoke & Fire
No
I can’t hear what you say.
And no
I can’t make it your way.
You
Have placed it in your heart,
That I
must fit the lines today.

But the world that you will face today,
the smoke and fires you see
They won’t take hold of me.

Green
And never seen before
Your eyes
Can ask for nothing more.
But me,
I’ll make it my own way
And true
no formal words to say.

But the world that you will face today,
the smoke and fires you see
They won’t take hold of me.

No,
No way,
I wont believe a word you say.
No,
No way,
I can’t hear what you say.
No,
No way
I won’t believe a word you say.
No,
No way, no way.

Time
Has taken my mind down.
The words
Have spoken on my lips.
Now
I have this left to say,
That you
can see things your own way.

Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, Whoa
Track Name: Candy Wrappers
Looking out in front of me
the world is what I see
24 and I’m jumping out
I’ll let you know the worst of me
it can not do anything
Now that I am on my way
With candy wrappers on the ground
I’m laughing out without a sound
this is what takes me there
What is it your gunna do
when the world ain’t coming through
and when it comes down to the line

Then she said she said
That this old world is just breaking her heart
And she said she said
That this old world is just falling apart
Then she said she said
That this old world is just breaking her heart
And she said
It all

If heavens what your trying to find
why you spending every dime
On things that won’t take you there
mmm hmm
I’m giving up on everything
this is what I want to sing
this song for you to hear
Facing fears and holding hands
I’m writing love notes in the sand
I’m trying to get us out of here
Oh I’m trying
I’m trying

Mean what you say
and forget the rest
oh oh
Mean what you say
and forget the rest
oh oh
oh oh
Track Name: The Southern Line
Well we took our time
On that southern line
Yes we did.
Well we took our time
On that southern line
Yes we did.

So many roads to choose
So many days,
So many in-betweens,
Every possible mistake.

Summer time
With your heart of gold on my mind,
Leads me to you.
In this town
That’s been beat up
and beat down
leads me to you.
Oooo, Ooo, Ooo.

Hold me honestly
Till night is through,
Even technology
Can’t make the stars and moon.
Track Name: Amy
All this time
I hope that you
Don’t change your mind
Amy you look the same
and you feel the same to me
Amy you look the same
and you feel the same to me

It is coming down now
and it is all around you now
It’s coming down now
But I can see
The light in your eyes

It’s in your eyes

If you want to
I can be your lover tonight
If you wan to
I can hold you all my life
If you need to
I can wait and take my time
But if you want to
I can be your lover tonight

If you want to
I can make this last all night
If you want to
I can wait and take my time
If you need to
I can sit right here by your side
But if you want to
We can make our worlds collide

All this time
I hope that you
Don’t change your mind
Amy you look the same
and you feel the same to me
Amy you look the same
and you feel the same to me

All this time
I hope that you
Don’t change your mind
Track Name: Wishing Well
I know you are to damn good for me
but I’m just wishing on this wishing well
You know I am more than good for you
So what are we gunna do babe

Peeking over fences
Lying in the backyard
Over on the green grass
Now were picking up the pieces
Sun blocked baby
Sweet little dewdrop
Plated up fresh summer loving
Look its written in the sky

We fall asleep in summer
We’re waking up at daylight
Running on the beaches
Chilling out till midnight
Turning up the music
I think I might get seasick
All you see is faces
Living the summer life

Oh oh oh oh were just walking in the sun light
Oh oh oh oh won’t you step a little closer
Oh oh oh oh I wanna kiss and wanna hold ya
Oh oh oh oh wishing this was never over
Wanna kiss and wanna hold ya
Step a little closer
Track Name: Shake Ur Brotha
Shake shake Ur brotha
Shake shake Ur friend
Shake shake Ur lover
Shake shake it again

I have been told to many times
I have been told to watch my step
I have been told to many times
But forget that

People will say what they want to say
People will say oh you can’t do that
People will say just about anything
But forget that

I have been known not to take my time
And I’ve been known to jump right in
I have been known not to watch my step
But forget that

The TV will say what it’s paid to say
The TV will say oh you just need that
The TV will say so many things
But forget that

I have been down to many times
I have been down and lost my step
I have been down but now I know
To forget that
Track Name: Grace
You could see in her face
she’s an old town girl
With not much to say
and a scarf wrapped around her world
With black fishnet stockings
and a tattoo that said Grace
She was a beauty
but was just out of place

What he felt in his heart
oh he knows it gone
What he felt in his heart
oh he knows it gone
What he felt in his heart
oh he knows it gone
What he felt in his heart
oh he knows it gone

He was a bruiser
growing up in Indiana
He fought like the devil
but was as honest as can be
It wasn’t easy
growing up at seventeen
His daddy was holy
and his mom was a prom queen

Life it ain’t easy
falling in at eighteen
his mother had told him
He deserved better than she
I know what your thinking
and it ain’t gunna be what you see
No rhyme and no reason
Love wasn’t as easy as it seemed
Track Name: Home
Did you know
that you found
your way home
Did you know
that you found
your way home
Did you know
that you found
your way home

Frustrated by life wanting to find
Your way home
You made the call you took the fall
all on your own

Can you feel it in the winter
Can you feel it in the summer
or the fall
I have heard it in the mountains
oh it is my name
that you call
As the wind is blowing westward
and were driving straight
looking at the sun
Oh you may have won the fight
but the battle
has just begun
Track Name: Broken Hearted
Oh your sitting mind wasted
looking up at the sky
And you don’t know who you are
Finding out that life
is not as simple as you once thought

You are you are so broken hearted
And you don’t know who you are
You are you are so broken hearted
And you don’t know who you are

Oh your lip locked
kissing shadows right down to the floor
Trouble lingers round your door
Watching stepping turning over in the dark
You should have know it from the start

Keep your heart where you can see it
It won’t roam far if you believe it
While all your insecurities creep their way in
Keep your heart where you can see it
It won’t go far if you believe it
While all your instabilities creep they’re way in
Track Name: In Between
What you say babe
is what you need
What you fear babe
is the in between
It's the in between in life
It's the struggles and the fights
And it just ain't up to me
It ain't up to me

As for me now
I am so damn broke
I can't buy you rings babe
Keep up with folk
But I swear there's more to life
than one giant dollar sign
And it just ain't up to me
It ain't up to me

That trip to New York
served me well
We test our limits
In cheap motels
It's that fight to stay alive
It's those train rides through the night
And it just ain't up to me
It ain't up to me

There is no comfort
out on the road
No lovely hometown
No lovely home
But it begs there's more to life
than these cities and these skies
And it just ain't up to me
It ain't up to me

Treads burning up the sound
of flying two feet from the ground
Roads bend so carelessly
It ain't up to me
It ain't up to me
It ain't up to me
It ain't up to me
Track Name: A Love Like You
I wish I had a love like you before

I’m headed down to that
California Bay
I’m headed down to see that CA Sun
You might find me in LA
You might find me on the Bay
But please don’t find me until I am done

And the smell of the crispness
in that old desert sky
And the cacti you know they grow so green
But he told you that you’re never
supposed to speak about the weather
when the train on the track is loosing steam

I’m gunna hang my hat
on that old winters sky
I’m gunna hang my hat
upon the sun
Then we will go down to that rocky mountain side
and finish all the words to this song
